Treats suitable for puppies
Your puppy is experiencing a major life change. They may sleep more than usual, be quieter than expected, whine occasionally, or eat less. This adjustment period is completely normal.
Limit visitors and overwhelming experiences for the first few days.
Consistent schedules help puppies adjust quickly.
Speak softly and let your puppy approach at their own pace.
Keep your puppy nearby and monitor interactions with children and other pets.
Three to four small meals per day during early puppyhood. Provide fresh water at all times. If transitioning foods, mix gradually over 7–10 days and monitor for digestive upset.
A crate is your puppy's personal sanctuary — never a punishment. Introduce gradually, use comfortable bedding, reward voluntary entry, and keep early sessions short and positive.
Take your puppy out first thing in the morning, after meals, after naps, after play, and before bed. Reward success immediately, supervise closely, and handle accidents calmly with enzyme cleaner.
Gradually expose your puppy to new sounds, people, surfaces, car rides, and household routines. Always prioritize positive experiences and avoid overwhelming situations.
Schedule a wellness exam within the first few days. Continue with vaccinations, deworming, preventatives, and growth monitoring as your vet recommends.
Brush several times each week to prevent mats. Bathe gently with puppy shampoo. Trim nails regularly, monitor ears, and begin dental brushing early.
